Donation from the Blue Knights, March 2010
The Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club Maryland Chapter IV made a generous donation of $1500 to CCCAS. Their support over the past several years is extremely appreciated.

Linda Creason, long time board member, steps down, January 2010
After decades of service to the Children's Aid Society as board member, previous chair, vice-chair and secretary, Linda Creason is looking forward to being just a member of the agency. She promises to continue to help out whenever needed. Children's Aid thanks her for her years of service.

Brad and Linda Gottfried grant awarded,
Children's Aid Society was one of several grant recipients from the first Brad and Linda Gottfried grant. While the Gottfried's were inundated with grant requests, Children's Aids proposal for new infant car seats, won their hearts and their money! The $900 grant will be utilized to purchase new infant car seats for families who do not have the means to purchase the seats to transport their newborns home from the hospital.

Southern Maryland Womens League awards $350 to Children's Aid.
This money will go into the Emergency Assistance program to help families with basic life necessities.
