Christmas Toy Connection is one of the largest holiday assistance programs in Charles County. Through a partnership between Children's Aid Society and the Charles County Department of Social Services, the program helps provide Christmas toys and gifts to approximaetely 2,000 local children each year. Children's Aid coordinates toy collection and distribution, while the Department of Social Services manages family applications and approval. Community Support makes this program possible. Individuals, businesses, churches, civic organizations and volunteers can help by donating new toys and gifts, making a monetary contribution, hosting a toy drive or volunteering during the weeklong program.
