Children's Aid's
Thanksgiving Basket Program
Each year Children’s Aid assists 250 families by providing them with a Thanksgiving feast. With the help of the community, CAS helps families to have a happy thanksgiving. Each basket includes every part of a Thanksgiving meal ranging from the turkey to the dessert.
Every year different groups pack all 250 bags to give back to the community. If you are interested in assisting with this project reach out to us today.
Our 2025 program sponsors were Modern Door, the Charles County Correctional Officers Association, Chasen Boscolo, The University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center and individual donors.
Food Lion Store #1184 and Kemet Court and Temple assisted with packing all bags for the families.
For 2026 Thanksgiving Baskets
This year's event registration will be online only.
On November 1st there will be a sign up link on this page.
Our baskets are first come first serve. Once our list is full we will update this page.
To qualify, families must:
1. Live in Charles County, MD
2. Have children under the age of 18.
